It is our immense pleasure to announce that Ecoparadigm's flagship Kundalahalli lake rejuvenation project- won the first prize for 'National Water Award' under Best Welfare Association (RWA) category 2018, out of nearly 3400 nominations!
Out of nearly 3400 nominations, Ecoparadigm's wastewater treatment technology commissioned at Kundalahalli lake in 2016 won the award.
Ecoparadigm's award-winning wastewater treatment technology was commissioned at Kundalahalli lake in 2016. The project was done through public private partnership. Two Decentralised Treatment System (DTS) plants installed at the lake treat around 780 Kiloliters of incoming sewage everyday. This natural treatment system needs no energy, chemicals or manpower to operate.
We thank BBMP chief engineer- Lakes Mr. Satish, Manish Michael from United Way Bengaluru, Aravind Keerthi from Brookefield RWA, Qualcomm and GE for choosing Ecoparadigm as their technical partner. We thank you for your support in making this project a huge success. Incidentally, this comes ten years after Ecoparadigm's Badlapur Adarsh school won the National Urban Water award in 2009.
